Happy St. Valentine's Day From all of us @GCI

To all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful, and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams

To all the girls in the women I know struggling to be accepted, struggling to love again, struggling to heal, struggling to just be better...this is to you: "You matter Queen!"

Girls are one of the most powerful forces for change in the world: When their rights are recognized, their needs are met, and their voices are heard, they drive positive change in their families, their communities, and the world.

We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back. We call upon our sisters around the world to be brave – to embrace the strength within themselves and realize their full potential.

Happy St. Valentine's Day from all of us at GCI

The Girl Child Initiative Children's Day Celebration

Today being the international children's day was the maiden Street walk of the Girl Child Initiative.
Children are blessings to the world,in fact children are the world and a greater segment in this world is the girl child, hence the need to celebrate her especially in the rural setting.
One would ask why we didn't just visit a school and gift them, why decide to walk?
Well those that really need the pads and the jotters don't have money to go the school,if you want to help them take it to where they are learning their skills or their houses and that was why we went on the walk.
It is with great joy and fulfilment I share these pictures with you, words cannot quantity the amount of joy within me as I type this, well the pictures would speak for themselves...maybe just maybe you might understand that the world needs more of us,the female specie needs more from us. Just maybe we might see that selfishness would get us no where and generosity wouldn't reduce the amount we have for ourselves instead it would multiply us beyond our wildest imaginations.
I wouldn't tell you there where no challenges before this program,in fact it would amaze you to know that this program almost did not hold but I tell you when man is walking in God's purpose miracles are always one call away.
I would like to appreciate God without whom this program wouldn't have been held.
I would also like to appreciate the following few,in no particular order.
My mother whose undying love made contributions for this program.
The Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) Keffi Unit Commander for his outrageous contribution.
The District Manage,Nigerian Postal Services(NIPOST) whose motherly counsel charged me never to give up.
Mr Aliyu Orume whose companionship and support cannot be undermined.
Elizabeth Fashino who would go any learnt to make sure my dreams are achieved
My CDs president and vice president for supporting without prejudice
My colleagues at work (Leah and Tina) despite their tight schedules making sure they went
And last but not the least Rabi and her friend who made it smooth all through.

Without forgetting I would like to thank Olagrapgics for his help behind the scenes and Olalekan R-star Pluzone Graphics for always being on stand by. I would also like to appreciate Olubukola of Helpinghands Foundation, who made the donations of pads months back.
Not also forgetting sunnytech photo who gave out his camera to me to make this program memorable.
Finally I would like to thank a special friend for always listening and punctuating where my sight overlooked.
Without you all we wouldn't have spread love like we did today.

God bless you,
God bless GCI,
God bless Keffi,Nasarawa State.
God bless Nigeria.

The Girl Child Initiative is 2! Happy birthday GCI

The Girl Child is the most significant fragment of the globe. The girl child is precious and human too, she's in no stride with her male counterpart, she only seeks to be treated human.
That's what we do here at the Girl child Initiative,we go out of our way to make her see herself as human, show her the potentials she's got and probably make visible the endless possibility she can explore.
As a non governmental organization, one on a charitable mission it hasn't been easy, especially with the many challenges of fraud and faint words. But we have in our own way contributed to the lives of young girls, women and boys/men alike in the past one year, and this couldn't have been possible without God and without you.
To everyone who has in one way or the other supported or facilitated this NGO,I say thank you.
Let's do more next year.
Time will fail me to mention names but even the tinest show of kindness has moved us forward.
For this new year, we plan to bless lives again, since that's what we love doing😋,first off is GCI's Rural Outreach Street Tour in the month of February @Keffi,Nigeria.
Consequent programs would be announced.

PHOTO STORY: The Girl child Initiative's Rural Outreach Tour (ROT18)

The Girlchild Initiative's Rural Outreach Tour (ROT18) happened today.
It was beyond our expectation!
We got surprised a whole lot!...lol
First, the school we intended visiting before now didn't receive us,hence our resort to the rehabilitation center;
Not withstanding that we made our visit,
The girl child initiative is not a feminist organization,we've these pictures to prove.

In this rehab, the women or girls or young ladies were more unstable than the men, like by unstable I mean intolerant to listen to us just yet,we even witnessed the moving to cell of one particular young lady that was seated for the program only to start fluctuating in behavior (by fluctuating I mean unstable) so the need to move her.

In this particular tour we planned for 100students of which we accomplished, their gifts were given to the school head since we couldn't see them, the pads for the girls and the jotter for the boys, why did we include the boys from the start? To show you that we are particular but not bias, we re interested in the girl but not uninterested in the boy child.
It was most importantly a success, the aim and purpose of the visit and tour was achieved.
We hope we cover up on our targeted 1000students soon.

Your donations made this possible,I couldn't have without you all. I would name a few whose donations and support deserve recognition.
help kids Foundation NG Team through Bukola Adekile donated 10cartons of pads for the rural outreach tour which we are yet to even touch,we are grateful.
Siasiai Ebisidor Foundation's Ebisidor Ann Azu donation and support cannot be overemphasised,we are grateful.
G-Time Bakery Bwari,Clara Oriaran Ojuade for never failing,I'm more than grateful.
Also to the FCT Vocational Rehabilitation Center,Kuchiko-Bwari for granting us audience.
Special thanks be to God Almighty, for without Him this wouldn't have happened. It can only be God.

I want to specially thank my mum, she's been my motivation when I'm not inspired to move on,she is the bedrock of all this,I'm indebted to you Gbemisola Olabode for life.
I would like to thank the guest speaker for her presence Stellamaris Idele who happens to be my mom's boss for always supporting my NGO.
I want to specially thank Odebiyi Adewale aka Mr Capable, for standing by and doing the unthinkable for the NGO and also all those he came along with Sarah,Faith,Joy,and Ade for their support and time I'm forever grateful.
Also I would like to thank Princess Adejoke Eletu and Iniabasi Uwem-okon for always standing by me in this dream of mine, whenever I call they are there, for the planning, presence and support,I appreciate you both.

Also, special thanks goes to King James Kuna and Isaac for making it to the venue.
I also would like to thank my team members Akinyemi Samuel Segun,Adeagbo Gabriel Ayomide,Olufehmy Dammy Oluwaseun Bamidele Pman, Damilola Omotoyinbo and others that made an effort or made efforts to make this possible.
Specially also,I would like to thank R-star OlaLekan Pluzone for the graphics every time I ask, Akingbemiro Opeyemi Grace for the rural outreach tour pic,and Kriss Ali for the lovely jotter and banner,in one way or the other you all made my dream come through.
I would also like to thank my colleagues at Nasels 17, notable among them are Diplenty Sunnery Larule, Afolabi Folake,Evans Samuel, Abiola Justice Gbolahan and every other person that supported in one way or the other.

Finally,I would like to thank Ebisidor and her mom for the donation,Mr Abubakar Mohammed and Mrs Debby Abubakar for the donation,Ogundipe Abimbola for always standing by me through it all even in spirit,I would like to thank pastor Oluwafemi Olatunji for his prayers and Pastor David Kyrian too for those prayers. Thank you to Mary Okesanjo, Victoria Makanjuola, Fulani Kemisola,Adetomiwa Badewole. There's one person though not visible I must not forget to thank, for sensing when I need to talk to someone, for giving a shoulder I could lean on for also trying to do his best with me while he can, without naming him he knows himself.

I couldn't possibly name everybody, but I'm grateful and also optimistic that we can do more.
GCI issagoal
ROT18 issagoal!
God bless @thegirlchildiniative
