When I become a ÌRÓ (HERO)
Theirs is a world of fantasy
that is real;
Theirs is a world of freedom
that is imprisoned;
They have everything and
nothing!
And so they care less even
more.
She says "When I grow
up,I want to become Cinderella",
He says "When I grow up
I want to become Superman".
You'll hear them say;
I will fly all around
and help everybody.
But who are they?
Ìró
or Hero?
Helpless or helpers?
What are they?
Answers:
They are children!
They are today!
From yesterday till tomorrow.
**************
Yes who are they? To you?
I mean the children? Nuggets
or giants? What are they? Ìró (meaning wrapper in
the Yorúbà language) or Heroes?
Children are an heritage of the Lord, so
the bible says in Ps127:3a,
Children are more than what
the world sees them to be, they are everything the world needs to learn from,
yet they seemed unlearned.
They are the future even in
today and tomorrow after yesterday...
A child would cry now, stop
crying and console you while crying, they forget so easily but never forget to love
or stop loving.
The world needs the child,
the child needs all the love it can get, especially the girl child, day after
day she's being oppressed but you don't know it, she won't say it. Then she
blames herself for everything, the victim sparing the culprit...let the silence
end, let our voices be heard...support we need.
Stand for them, stand for
their joy, her joy, her happiness, her everything.
